Update Covid-19 - 22.12.2020

Dear Tennis Players of Tennis Menzingen,

the Federal Council decided on December 18th 2020, that tennis centers such as Tennis Menzingen may be open under the following restrictions as of December 22nd 2020:

  • Without time restrictions:
    • Tennis for children before their 16th birthday
    • Tennis training for children before their 16th birthday with a tennis coach
    • Tennis for players with a Swiss Olympic Card
    • Tennis for professionals

The existing protection concept must be adhered to when playing.

For organizational reasons we have to block all courts in the online booking system. If you want to play tennis and you meet the above criteria, you are welcome to call Tennis Menzingen (Tel.: 041 755 1833) and we will reserve the court for you.

We look forward to welcoming you at Tennis Menzingen.

Sporty greetings

Tennis Menzingen,

Eichkorn Family

These protective measures will apply from Monday, October 19, 2020.

Dear tennis players and guests of Tennis Menzingen,

On Sunday, October 18th 2020, the Federal Council approved new measures throughout Switzerland, which must also be complied with at Tennis Menzingen.

These protective measures will apply from Monday, October 19, 2020.

The measures require that a mask must be worn upon entering the building, on the way to the changing room and toilets and in the changing rooms. The mask obligation does not apply to the indoor tennis hall and tennis matches.

The following applies in the lounge: As soon as you sit down you may take off the mask, as soon as you get up you must put the mask on again.

Environmental protection is important at Tennis Menzingen!

During the last year we have installed new energy-saving LED lamps to reduce power consumption. We also installed new energy-saving windows to reduce oil consumption.

However, since the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of a tennis hall cannot be reduced to '0', we have decided to invest in projects through MyClimate that compensate the CO2 emissions of the operation of the tennis hall. It is important to us that we also compensate the CO2 emissions of our clients, which are caused by travelling to and from the tennis hall although they are outside our sphere of influence.

We wish you all great fun playing tennis in the first CO2-neutral tennis hall in Switzerland, which also compensates the customer emissions!
